HOW DOES IT WORK?
Excessive sweating occurs when the nerves connected to your sweat glands send more signals than necessary, causing the glands to stay “switched on.” During hyperhidrosis treatment, a product is placed just under the skin in the affected area. This product works by temporarily blocking the chemical messenger (acetylcholine) that normally activates the sweat glands.
When these signals are reduced, the glands produce less sweat, helping the area stay drier and more comfortable. The treatment targets the overactive nerve signalling — not the sweat glands themselves — which is why it’s considered a precise, clinically guided approach.
